Waking up and feeling unbalanced in life on a daily? If so this might be the perfect time to start a Spiritual Journey. Trust me I know the feeling I have dealt with depression and anxiety along with other emotions. I knew that I couldn’t keep going down this path I was on feeling empty and sad.
Starting my journey was the best thing I could have done for myself and my family. So, I’m going to share a few things I did at the beginning of my journey to help you get going on your beautiful journey
Reflect on you Spiritual Journey
This step is one of the most important to me because you need to understand where you are mentally and spiritually and where you want to be in the future. You must set your intentions on the person you want to become. Think of the changes you wanna feel in your mental and spiritual state. Acknowledge your defeats in life but also acknowledge your WINS. This was hard for me because I tend to focus on what I didn’t have or what I didn’t accomplish without even taking the time to thank God and the universe for the beautiful life that I’m blessed to live.
Set a Routine
Create a Daily routine something that makes u feel accomplished for the day. Remember this spiritual journey is a marathon, not a race so u can start with something as small as drinking water first thing in the morning and making your bed. Then add on as you go me personally, I started with drinking water and making my bed, and cleaning my office desk off every morning. It’s something about having a clean organized space that just makes you feel better and like you have accomplished something. It might be small but in time that habit will form into more habits and eventually, your routine will not feel like something u have to do. It’s going to be a part of you and something u look forward to. Self-care is very important and creating these habits will help you feel better and open more to your Spiritual Journey.
Do your Research
Do your research Like you doing now keep it up. it is so much information about how to invite a spiritual awakening. Always keep your mind open to new ideas don’t be so focused on what others might think of the new you you’re creating because at the end of the day you’re doing this for yourself. So, take time to read and learn different types of beliefs and examine your own beliefs when it comes to your spirituality. Do what makes you feel comfortable and always listen to your intuition. Research different types of mediation and use the one that fits you best.
There are so many routes you can take on your journey. There is not just one road so find the path that fits your lifestyle and beliefs. Don’t rush the process and don’t follow everything someone else is doing because they might be either ahead of you or behind you in this journey so start this at your own pace.
